eOx® AeroTech 2000

eOx AeroTech 2000 is a ready to use specialty product for aircraft engine manufacturers and engine maintenance and remanufacturing. It is suitable for aircraft engine materials. It removes difficult substances such as hydraulic oil, carbon and lubricants safely.

STANDARDS

  • Conforms to specification ARP 1755B for cleaning agents on aircraft engine materials.
  • Conforms to specification ASTM F 519-97 TYPE 1A for Mechanical Hydrogen Embrittlement.

    on AMS 4911 alloy.
METHOD OF ACTION
  • eOx AeroTech 2000 penetrates the dirt, breaking surface tension, easily dissolving organic substances and disintegrating many chemical compounds.
  • The use of carbon chains in this system makes this cleaning agent biodegradable. The chemical reactions that take place when using eOx AeroTech 2000 completely disintegrate these linear carbon chains.
  • Both cationic and non-ionic reducing agents are used, allowing eOx AeroTech 2000 to work very efficiently at low temperatures. The concentrate’s high pH (12.5) is partly caused by the cationic ingredients. This pH allows eOx AeroTech 2000 to clean solid washable surfaces without marring the substrate.
  • The non-ionic ingredient increases the product’s penetration into the dirt. It also decreases the static attraction of the dirt to the substrate by encasing the dirt particles, preventing them from attaching to the surface.
  • eOx AeroTech 2000 decomposes oil-based products. It separates the oily substance into its water soluble and organic components, making easy removal from the substrate possible.
  • eOx AeroTech 2000 contains no phosphates. The cationic and non-ionic ingredients work well in hard water since they are not sensitive to Calcium or Magnesium ions. 
         
         
           
          
              
         
NOTES FOR USING eOx Aerotech 2000
  • Whatever system is used for cleaning with eOx Aerotech 2000, a mechanical action (brush, sponge, aeration of solution, ultrasonic, etc.) is required to break the surface tension of the dirt. Just soaking for an extended time will not be sufficient for cleaning.
  • After several cleanings, eOx Aerotech 2000 will form an anti-static layer on the aircraft or other equipment. This layer helps prevent dirt from sticking to the surface, thereby making it easier to remove.
  • eOx Aerotech 2000 is ready to use but can be diluted up to 1:1 with water.
  • Warming eOx Aerotech 2000 accelerates the cleaning process.
  • Circulation of the solution in a parts washer will enhance cleaning.
  • Ultrasonic baths may accelerate cleaning time, but are not required.
  • Contaminants may be precipitated or filtered out of eOx Aerotech 2000 product solution to facilitate disposal. The remaining eOx Aerotech 2000 may be reused provided pH continues to meet specifications.
