Flame Arrester Assembly from a GE CFM 56 turbine engine cleaned with eOx® AeroTech 2000.

This Flame Arrester is exposed to an average temperature of 1184° F and becomes contaminated with carbon and coke in a GE CFM 56 turbine engine. By just soaking the arrester in eOx AeroTech 2000 for 4 hours at 120º F and then rinsing, the majority of contamination was removed and there was no stock loss or degradation of the part.

eOx AeroTech 2000 is a new aqueous cleaner that is designed for cleaning turbine engine parts and conforms to ARP 1755B.
